1. Acceptance
By accessing or using Reelink (the “Service”) you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. The Service
Reelink converts publicly accessible article URLs into vertical short-form videos using third-party AI models for script, narration, visuals, and captions. The Service is provided as-is. Output quality depends on the source article and on upstream AI providers and may vary.
3. Accounts
You must provide accurate information when signing up and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity on your account. Authentication is handled by Clerk, Inc.
4. Subscriptions and credits
Paid plans are billed monthly through Stripe. Each plan grants a monthly allowance of generation credits that resets at the start of each calendar month. Unused credits do not roll over from a monthly subscription allowance; credits purchased separately as top-up packs are non-expiring while your account is active.
You may cancel a subscription at any time through the customer portal. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access for the time you have already paid for. See the Refund Policy for refund terms.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Generate content that is illegal, defamatory, harassing, or violates the intellectual-property rights of others.
- Process article URLs you do not have a legal right to view, or that are behind a paywall or login wall in a way that circumvents the publisher’s access controls.
- Generate content that violates the usage policies of upstream providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.).
- Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit the Service in bulk without prior written agreement.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that we reasonably suspect of abuse.
6. Your content
Article URLs and any generated reels you create are yours. Reelink stores generated reels on cloud infrastructure (AWS S3) for the retention period associated with your plan (7, 30, or 90 days). After expiration, generated files are deleted automatically and cannot be recovered.
You grant Reelink a limited license to process your inputs through the third-party AI providers necessary to generate the output you request. We do not train any models on your inputs.
7. Third-party services
The Service relies on third-party providers including Clerk (authentication), Stripe (billing), OpenAI and Anthropic (AI models), AWS (rendering and storage), Vercel (hosting), Upstash (caching), and Neon (database). Use of the Service is subject to the terms of those providers in addition to these Terms.
8. Intellectual property
Reelink’s name, logo, and software are the property of the operator. You retain ownership of the generated output you create. You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to the source articles you process.
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose. AI-generated output may contain inaccuracies — review it before use.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Reelink’s total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced through the Service or by email. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in New York County, New York.
13. Contact
Questions about these Terms can be sent to denispavlik9@gmail.com.
